Senior Implementation Engineer
Before joining Digital Boardwalk in October 2013, I worked for Clearwire, a Sprint subsidiary. I managed the operations for a call center with 500 computers. It was a great place to work, but not as good as Digital Boardwalk!
I have been working with technology for as long as I can remember. I was always breaking things and then fixing them. I enjoy taking things apart to see how they work. I’ve been working professionally in the industry 16 years, right out of college.
I’m a Jack of all trades. I have always had an ability to dissect problems and work around them toward a resolution. I currently specialize in networking, virtualization, and VoIP.

I enjoy spending time with family. My parents and my in-laws live in the area, so we are always hanging out. I’m a HUGE college football fan. My parents met at the University of Alabama, so I pretty much owe my life to that place. I’m the quintessential nerd when it comes to movies, TV shows, video games, books, etc. My wife and I walked down the aisle to the Imperial March from Star Wars (her idea). We often host game nights at our house. I’m also a member of the 501st Legion, which is a global Star Wars costume group that works with many different charities.
My favorite movie/series is the entire Star Wars original trilogy, and my favorite book is Ready Player One by Ernest Cline

Colby’s deep passion for technology helps him connect with Digital Boardwalk’s engineers as a mentor and invaluable support system.
With decades of professional experience in the information technology industry, as well as a lengthy tenure with Digital Boardwalk, Colby brings a great deal of wisdom and expertise to the team and helps them deliver some of the best technical support in the industry.
